Local Development
Rome Town Hall’s employment strategy also encompasses urban development and planning for local development.
Together, the initiatives taken in the outer areas of Rome, the creation of local contracts, and urban development, constitute the positive elements which favour employment and development, as well as enhancing and consolidating the production mechanisms which boost the employment sphere as a whole.
The channelling of EU funds towards local development and employment issues of EU importance becomes imperative in the formulation of new employment-generating strategies and the acquisition of new and innovative methodologies and experience. In this regard, the following projects are already underway: Equal 2, Urbact, Agis, Selma, Alle.
